Boilers Woodchip and pellet heating is a tried and tested technology for heating buildings and are in widespread use across much of northern Europe. Woodfuel boilers typically run at very high efficiencies up to 93% and these high efficiencies mean that the fuel is converted to heat with very few smoke particles, most woodfuel systems can be installed in smoke free areas.
